WEST FARGO - After a number of complaints, West Fargo City Commissioners have agreed to take a look at the city's fireworks ordinance.

Right now, it's legal to light off fireworks in city limits on the 4th of July and New Year's. Fire Chief Dan Fuller told commissioners the city has grown since the ordinance took effect in 2014 and many new homes are closer together. He says it's time to revisit the ordinance.

Fuller and Police Chief Denis Otterness are drafting a memo to urge commissioners to take action before next July 4th.
