WEST FARGO (WDAY) - Shinedown honored law enforcement Friday, during their performance at the Red River Valley Fair with a moment of silence after learning that at least three Fargo Police Department Officers were shot in South Fargo late Friday afternoon.
"When we arrived here today it wasn't something that we could even fathom," the band said during their performance. "No matter where we perform we entrust...that security will take care of the audience and the artist...the police force takes it upon themselves and risks their lives for your security and your safety and ours."
The band held a moment of silence to the approving crowd, "Show your empathy and your love and support for these officers and their families with a moment of silence."
