(Fargo, ND) -- The Red River Valley Fair has donated more than $40,000 to the families affected by the officer-involved shooting in the city Friday afternoon.
The Red River Valley Fair encouraged residents to visit the fair on Sunday, with all gate admission proceeds being donated to the family of the officers affected.
"Thanks to everyone who came to the Fair yesterday, we raised $43,473 ... We are so appreciative to be part of a community that comes together to support one another," read a post on the Red River Valley Fair's Facebook page.
