(Fargo, ND) -- The City of Fargo is moving forward to repair the Red River flood wall.

In 2019, movement was detected in a section of the wall, and a study was conducted to learn if there were any serious concerns. Although the wall itself is safe; the movement was determined to be erosion by surveyors.

The City Commission is now moving forward with an Erosion Protection Project, giving the green light to K.L.J. to design, construct, inspect, and survey the University Drive South flood walls. The approved plan is expected to cost $401-thousand dollars.
