(JAMESTOWN) – No one was injured Thursday morning when a crop dusting plane crashed in Stutsman County.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 1994 Air tractor, piloted by 29-year-old Michael Carrigee, of Bush, Louisiana, was attempting to take off from a private airstrip west of Jamestown. The plane he was piloting struck a barbwire fence and traveled down a ravine prior to coming to rest in a pasture field.

Carrigee was the lone occupant in the plane and was not injured.

The crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
