(West Fargo, ND) -- A West Fargo man is in custody and a woman is dead after authorities responded to a medical emergency Thursday morning.
The West Fargo Police Department says they responded to the 1100 block of Eaglewood Avenue West at approximately 7:38 a.m. Thursday. Authorities found a deceased adult female in the home.
As the investigation continued, a suspect, 31-year-old Spencer Moen (West Fargo, ND), was arrested for Murder. Moen is currently being held at the Cass County Jail.
“I want to assure the residents of West Fargo that this is an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public,” said Chief Denis Otterness. “Our department extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.”
Authorities say an investigation into the incident is still ongoing. The identity of the victim is being withheld until further notice.
