90 Choice Bank employees to join Golden Drive Homeless Kids in building Birthday Bags

(Fargo, ND) -- The Golden Drive for Homeless Kids is hosting a Birthday Bag Event to benefit disadvantaged youth in the F-M area.

The donations will directly benefit homeless kids in our area. The Golden Drive is looking for birthday themed items, like cake mix, candles, frosting, foil pans, balloons, and other items. Donations are asked to be dropped off at the West Fargo Fire or Police Department buildings.

In addition, approximately 90 leaders from Choice Bank across North Dakota and Minnesota will be gathering to make 350 birthday bags. All of the bags will be donated to the Golden Drive Homeless Kids Birthday Bag Event. 

"It's always been about connecting the people directly to the people, "said Sue Baron,  the Director of Golden Drive Homeless Kids, "It's us. People. We are the solution, awareness is key, and this (event) has come so far."

The event runs through August 21st.
