Moorhead appoints Ward 4 representative in city council meeting

(Moorhead, MN) -- The Moorhead City Council is fully staffed again after they voted to fill a vacant seat.

Sebastian McDougall was selected from a pool of six candidates in a 6-to-1-vote to represent Ward 4 on the city council. McDougall currently serves on the city's public service commission and park advisory board. McDougall will be sworn in on September 11th.

He is expected to serve the remainder of former member Steve Lindaas' term through December 31st, 2024 unless he wins in that year's election.
