Moorhead police arrest man after discovery of fentanyl and weapons in search warrant

(Moorhead, MN) -- A suspect is in custody after a search warrant found weapons and fentanyl in a Moorhead home. 

The Moorhead Police Department says they conducted a search warrant at a 3700 block of 7th street south and found more than 170 fentanyl pills and 18 grams of fentanyl paste. Additionally, $1,900 in U.S. currency was seized near the drugs, along with firearms and ammunition.

Moorhead Police say Patrick Nelson-Lauderdale (37, Moorhead) was arrested and faces 1st Degree Controlled Substance charges. The Cass County Drug Task Force and the Metro Crimes Street Unit worked with the Moorhead Police Department during the investigation.
