(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo City Commissioners are looking to speak about the use of Tax Incentive policies.

Commissioner John Strand brought up the conversations surrounding incentives, saying the commission previously agreed to meet every few years but have not done so since Commissioner Arlette Preston was elected in June of 2020 and took office. The city voted 4-1 to hold a working session and discuss the use of incentives. Commissioner Dave Peipkorn voted against the measure, saying the city already speaks about the incentives within the Economic Development Incentives Committee on a frequent basis.

A date and time for the proposed Commissioner meeting is not yet determined.
