Moorhead man arrested after search warrant nets drugs, guns

(MOORHEAD) -- A Moorhead man is behind bars following the execution of a search warrant at his home on Wednesday.

According to Moorhead Police, detectives, acting on numerous tips from the public, conducted a search warrant in the 3500 block of Village Green Lane in Moorhead. During the search warrant, officers seized more than 1,500 M30 pills, over $2,800 in cash and two firearms. Two children were also present, and Clay County Social Services was notified.

The suspect, DeAngelo Ransom, is being held in the Clay County Correctional Facility on a long-form complaint of Felony First Degree Controlled Substance Sale and Possession of Firearms/Ammunition after being convicted of a violent crime.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office assisted Moorhead Police.
