(Cass County, ND) -- Charges in a fatal golf cart incident have been upgraded in Mapleton after a women fell out of the vehicle.
43-year-old Erin Brosseau is accused of turning and ejecting 37-year-old Ashley Tangedal from the golf cart, who later died from her injuries. A Cass County judge approved an amendment to allow a criminal vehicular injury charge to be upped to criminal vehicular homicide. If Brosseau is found guilty, she could see up to 20 years in prison.
Her next hearing is scheduled for September 28th.
