(Fargo, ND) -- The North Dakota State Bison open their home season Saturday hosting the Maine Black Bears.
The team will honor first responders by wearing helmets with the word "Fargo" printed on the back.
The back of the helmet usually reads "Bison".
Three Fargo officers involved in an ambush that killed Officer Jake Wallin in July will be attending the game.
Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
