Frazee Police investigating shots fired

(FRAZEE, MN) -- The Frazee Police Department is investigating a report of gun shots Wednesday night in the city.

Chief Tyler Trieglaff says the call came in at approximately 11:33 p.m. of a report of gun shots on Lake Street South. Becker County Sheriff Department deputies and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the area. After an initial investigation, it was determined that the suspect was possibly at a hotel in Perhman.

Officers responded to the hotel. With the assistance of Perham Police, the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office and their SWAT team, one person was taken into custody. There appears to be no threat to the public.

The suspect is set to appear in Becker County Court today. The investigation is ongoing.
