(Fargo, ND) -- The victim and a driver are now identified in a fatal vehicle-vs-pedestrian crash that occurred in Fargo on Wednesday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol and Fargo Police say 68-year-old Deborah Hopper was crossing the westbound lanes of 13th Avenue South when she was struck by a truck driven by 63-year-old Abun Gofor. Authorities say Hopper was either in or near the marked crosswalk at the time of the strike. The crash, and possible charges against Gofor, are under investigation by authorities.
