Moorhead police: Deceased male found on Red River Bank

(Moorhead, MN) -- Authorities say a body has been found on the bank of the Red River.

The Moorhead Police Department says they were alerted to the discovery at approximately 11:45 a.m Sunday, by the Fargo Police Department. The discovery was made in the area near 1400 block North. The body is will be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office to be identified.
 

The name of the deceased is expected to be released once next of kin is notified. An investigation is underway at this time.
