Senator Cramer votes to confirm joint chiefs nominee

(Washington, DC)  --  The nominee for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

General Charles Brown Junior was given the congressional stamp of approval yesterday.

U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer voted yes for the General and says it is a well-earned confirmation.

Cramer serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

He says having an airman leading the Joint Chiefs is welcome news to airmen in Minot and Grand Forks.
