West Fargo I-94 crash seriously wounds Jamestown man and hospitalizes three others

(West Fargo, ND) -- A Jamestown man is seriously injured and cited for DUI after a four-vehicle crash on I-94 in West Fargo.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a the unnamed Jamestown driver was traveling in a construction zone when he rear-ended by a vehicle driven by an unnamed 63-year-old man from New Brighton, Minnesota. The Jamestown man's vehicle was then rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old woman from Amenia, North Dakota, disabling both of their cars in the westbound lane. Authorities say that's when a fourth vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old woman from Alice, North Dakota, struck the Amenia woman's vehicle on the passenger side and landing in the ditch. 

In total, four vehicles were involved in the crash. All people in the crash were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the Jamestown man was seriously injured and cited for DUI.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
