CORRECTION: Fargo Cass Public Health: 75% of businesses surveyed passed alcohol compliance checks

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Cass Public Health released updated information related to the alcohol compliance checks passed in September.

The agency says, due to a clerical error, their data showed Club 94 failed their alcohol compliance checks, when in reality they did pass. Nine out of twelve businesses passed their alcohol compliance checks, a success rate of 75%. 

"Due to a clerical error, the news release issued on September 29, detailing results of alcohol compliance checks conducted in Cass County on September 14, inaccurately reported Club 94 in Casselton as having failed the compliance check, "said the release." Club 94 passed the alcohol compliance check. Fargo Cass Public Health apologizes for any confusion the initial news release may have caused and appreciates the diligence of the business community in ensuring alcohol is not sold to minors."

Below are the corrected list of businesses that failed their alcohol compliance checks. 

• Old 10 Saloon – 407 Main Street, Buffalo – Second fail in one year
• Club 94 – 15568 37th Street Southeast, Casselton – First fail in one year
• Harwood Grill & Saloon – 217 Chapin Drive, Harwood – First fail in one year
• Happy Trails – 301 County Hwy 81, Argusville – First fail in one year

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Cass Public Health says eight out of twelve businesses tested passed their alcohol compliance checks within the county, or a 67% success rate.

The checks are part of a routine series of tests that occur every year with local law enforcement agencies in Fargo, West Fargo, and in Cass County. A business's first failure is considered an infraction. A court then imposes a penalty on the businesses. 

Cass County businesses that failed:
