BLOOMINGTON, MN - Rides with Jay Thomas has won an Emmy Award for Best Magazine Program.
The show, hosted by Jay Thomas, is in its 5th season. Jay travels the country to showcase amazing car collections and tell the story of how the owner built up their collection.
The 24th annual Upper Midwest Emmy Awards Gala took place in Bloomington, Minnesota Friday night. The Emmy Award is considered the most prestigious award a television professional can receive. The Upper Midwest Region includes North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Rides with Jay Thomas is produced by Gray Television and can be seen Saturday's at 10:30 p.m. on KX4 and Sunday's at 10:30 a.m. on KVLY.
Thomas also hosts The Jay Thomas Show weekdays from 2-5 p.m. on WDAY Radio.
