(Fargo, ND)  --  A sure sign that winter is on the way is the closing up of public parks.

Crews in Fargo have been removing river park accessories like the kayak launches in Lindenwood Park and Forest River Park and closing down restrooms in parks across the city.  The floating bridge over the Red River in Dike East Park is being removed today.

All facilities will reopen in the spring which is in 148 days.
