NDSU hosts Native American Month events

(Bismarck, ND)  --  November is Native American Month which pays tribute to the ancestry, language and traditions of the Native American.  

North Dakota State University has a series of events this month, including opening ceremonies which took place today at the Newman Center.  

Next week a tipi will be set up for visitors and there will be a presentation on storytelling and its impact on tribal people and their education.  

Later in the month a session on making dream catchers and hemp bracelets will be held in the Memorial Union.
