(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo and Grand Forks Police responded to false reports of mass casualty events Thursday evening.

Fargo Police say they responded to Fleet Farm at approximately 5:00 p.m., after a caller reported 80 people were hurt after a bomb exploded. When authorities arrived, they found injuries and nothing unusual happening at the store. Around the same time, Grand Forks police learned of a call reporting a similar scenario at a Walmart in the city. The caller did not specify which Walmart the incident took place, so officers responded to two stores in town, finding nothing at either location.

Police are still investigating and attempting to determine the source of the calls.
