Fargo Police: Monday garage fire intentionally set, investigation underway into multiple suspicious events

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police are conducting a criminal investigation into a series of fires set in garages this year. 

The Fargo Police Department says there have been five garage fires in the location between June 27th and November 6th. The most recent occurring at 11:58 p.m. on Monday, November 6th, when authorities say several stalls in a row of garages were lit on fire and put out with no injuries.

Fargo Firefighters say the following fires were set intentionally.

  • June 27: 10:43 p.m. in the 900 block of 42nd St. S.
  • July 18: 1:01 a.m. in the 900 block of 42nd St. S.
  • Aug. 5: 1:14 a.m. in the 900 block of 42nd St. S.
  • Aug. 13: 11:56 p.m. in the 900 block of 42nd St. S.
  • Sept. 30: 11:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of 42nd St. S.
  • Nov. 6: 11:58 p.m. in the 900 block of 42nd St. S.

Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the person or persons responsible for setting the fires to speak with investigators.
