Large electrical transformer relocation to cause traffic delays Sunday in West Fargo

(West Fargo, ND) -- A large electrical transformer is being moved into Fargo on Sunday, and authorities are temporarily closing sections of major roads to ensure it can be moved safely.

The closures are occurring along 12th Avenue North and turning onto 9th Street NE. There will also be a temporary closure as the transformer is moved east along Main Avenue, eventually traveling southbound along 45th Street South to its final location in the City of Fargo. The roads will see closures in all directions of traffic along the routes.

The closures will take place starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 12th.
