Moorhead Police: Man arrested after domestic dispute involving handgun

(Moorhead, MN) -- A Moorhead man is in custody after authorities say he was involved in a domestic dispute and burglary.

Police say went to the 800 block of 7th Avenue South at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, learning the suspect, 28-year-old Lavester Lavonte Lee Adams left before authorities arrived. Investigators learned the incident was a domestic dispute, and a handgun was shown in the incident.

Police later arrested Adams in a home in the 100 block of 16 street south on multiple charges, including Second Degree Assault and Interfering with a 9-1-1- call.
