(West Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo's newest Fire Station is now officially up and running.
The $18 million dollar facility, funded by a sales tax initiative, was already used to tackle a large townhouse fire that displaced six units on November 22nd. West Fargo Fire Chief Dan Fuller says the additional station is needed to keep up with the growth from the city, moving from just three full time firefighters in 2015 to 48 full time and 15 part-time firefighters in 2023.
