Fargo Public Schools chosen to participate in nationwide student mental health initiative

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Public Schools is among a handful of districts across the country chosen to participate in a program which is aimed at addressing student suicide and mental health issues.

The program is called the "District Comprehensive Approach".  

The initiative is the result of a partnership between the nonprofit JED Foundation and the School Superintendents Association.

The pilot program will involve 400,000 students from 570 schools.
