(Moorhead, MN) -- The old Moorhead High School building is officially closing their doors, as they held their last day of classes in person yesterday.

With Christmas vacation starting on Friday, and online classes being held today for students grades 9-12, the building is no longer holding classes within its halls. Students will return to school at the end of winter break in the new high school building

"Since the fall of 1967, the current MHS has been a hub of memories and experiences. As we stand on the brink of this exciting transition, what are some of your most cherished moments and reflections spanning the years from then to now?" asked the Moorhead Area Public Schools Facebook page.
