Moorhead city leaders looking forward to 2024 as several project beginnings on the horizon

(Moorhead, MN) -- Moorhead city leaders say 2023 is a set up for more years to come in 2024 and beyond. 

Moorhead Mayor Shelly Carlson says the city largely prepared for upcoming projects that will begin in 2024. This includes the construction of the Moorhead Community Center and Public Library, the underpass on 11th Street South, and several other projects at area parks.

"It's very exciting for our community," said Carlson, "These are things that have been in the works for so long, and these are things that we are going to be proud to bring friends and family to... and have places to bring them to in our city. Right now we don't have many of those amenities."
