(Fargo, ND) --  Law enforcement says a shot was fired during an apparent road rage incident in downtown Fargo.

The Fargo Police Department says the shooting occurred in area near 7th Street and 1st Avenue South. Court documents say a woman was driving in the area and swerved to avoid a car that ran a stop sign. Authorities say the suspect, identified as Andy Modesto Hernandez, drove around the woman's vehicle while shouting at her. Hernandez eventually stopped at the 7th Street and 1st Avenue South intersection and exited his vehicle. Authorities say surveillance video shows Hernandez opening his trunk, grabbing a rifle, and firing it once before leaving the scene.

Hernandez was later apprehended and charged with two counts of terrorizing, reckless endangerment, and discharge of a firearm within city limits.
