Two Moorhead Area Public Schools busses involved in crash

(Fargo, ND) -- UPDATE:  Moorhead Area Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Brandon Lunak tells WDAY Radio Now the accident involved two school busses transporting students from Horizon Middle School.

He says a "contracted" bus struck the back of another bus.

It happened on 34th St.

Lunak says no one was seriously injured, but says there were "a couple of bumps and bruises". 

Children were taken off the busses and loaded on to another bus, and were taken back to school to be reunited with their parents. 

INITIAL REPORT: 

WDAY Radio Now has received a report from a listener of an accident involving two school busses in Moorhead. 

The caller indicated first responders are at the scene.

The call came in around 4:30.

A WDAY reporter is headed to the scene.

WDAY radio has also requested information from the Moorhead Police Department.
