(Washington, DC) -- North Dakota's senators say they will not support a border security bill that is being voted on today.
The 118-billion dollar border security and foreign aid package is anticipated to be blocked by lawmakers who say it doesn't go far enough in stopping the flow of illegal immigration.
Senator John Hoeven said he and others aren't going to agree to something that doesn't secure the border.
Senator Kevin Cramer said, "This bill provides too many opening for bad behavior from an administration unconcerned with the threats we face at the southern border."
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has said the bill would not pass a House vote even if it makes it out of the Senate.
