(Fargo, ND) -- A new indoor baseball facility will soon open here in the metro.

"In North Dakota with our weather and different things like that it's something that we felt could be that next step in the evolution of West Fargo baseball," said West Fargo Baseball Vice President Todd Rhealt.

Rhealt tells WDAY Radio the new $5.6 million dollar facility is planned for South Elmwood Park at 535 13th Ave. W.

The league is partnering with Scheels to build the 25 thousand 200 square foot complex.

The facility is slated to open in May 2025.
