(West Fargo, ND) -- Heide Delorme has resigned from her position as Finance Director with the City of West Fargo.
A spokesperson for the city confirmed that Delorme turned in her resignation letter on February 8th.
Delorme’s last day will be Thursday, February 22nd.
"The City of West Fargo wishes Delorme the best in her future endeavors and thanks her for her hard work during her time as Finance Director," said Communication Manager Addie Stewart.
A reason for Delorme's departure was not provided.
Stewart provided a copy of Delorme's resignation letter.
"I wish to inform you that I will be resigning my position as Finance Director with the City as of February 22, 2024. I regret any inconvenience this will cause. I will do my best to finish my current projects before my last day & will be available for questions after that date," wrote Delorme.
Delorme had been serving in the position since June 19th, 2023.
She replaced Judith Afdhal who also served in the position less than one year.
