West Fargo City Commission candidate questions whether growth is sustainable

(Fargo, ND) -- A newly announced candidate for West Fargo City Commission is expressing concerns with how growth is managed in the city.

"It's one of the things that I noticed with West Fargo is that its growing. I guess my question is, is that growth sustainable in the sense of how the city is managing that growth?" asked DeAnn Reed.

Reed is running for one of two seats opening on the commission.

She is a former business owner and a stay-at-home mom.

Reed says if elected, she would focus on ways to lower property taxes and work on housing affordability.

The candidate appeared on WDAY Mid Day.
