Water diversion plan receives federal funding

(Washington, DC)  --  The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Flood Risk Management Project has received a big financial boost.  

The Army Corps of Engineers has awarded 23-million-dollars from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for the water diversion project.  

R.J. Zavoral & Sons has been awarded the contract to build the Southern Embankment Reach Project.  

Construction is expected to be completed in late summer 2027.
