(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo pastor is talking about why his church will be helping people pay for gas.
"We want to be known for our love for our community because that is what our savior told us to do and so we are showing the love of Christ to our neighborhood in North Fargo by serving them," said John Fisher.
Fisher says Journey Church is sponsoring the "Gas Buy Down" event this coming Saturday.
It happens from 10 a.m. until noon at Petro Serve USA at 29221 North Broadway in Fargo.
Fisher says gas purchased during that time will be discounted 50 cents a gallon.
