(Fargo, ND) -- A West Fargo man is facing several charges after authorities said he fled a Fargo officer.
Police say they attempted to check on a vehicle that was stopped in the center of a road near 11th Street and 26th Avenue South when the driver sped away from the scene, running a stop sign and fleeing into oncoming traffic. The vehicle was later found parked, and the driver fled on foot. After he was apprehended, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Deionte Prescott.
He faces two-outstanding warrants in West Fargo, along with charges of Fleeing a Peace Officer, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Refusal to Halt, Reckless Driving, and Driving under Revocation.
