Moorhead Police announce suspicious death of child, BCA investigating

(Moorhead, MN) -- Police and state law enforcement are investigating a suspicious death in Moorhead.

Authorities say they arrived in the 1500 block of Belsley Boulevard at around 1:10 a.m. for a medical assist, transferring a male child to Sanford Hospital where he later died. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is also investigating.

The male will undergo an autopsy conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office. Authorities say there is no known threat to the public.
