(Fargo, ND) -- The 11th Street underpass project in Moorhead is getting underway, and with that comes street closures that drivers need to know about.
"Primarily this year is 1st Avenue, east and west will be closed. Traffic will remain open on Main Avenue and Center Avenue. 11th Street north and south will be closed for the entire project," said Justin Knopf," Assistant District Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Knopf also says 8th Street and 14th Street will be open.
When the two year project is completed, traffic, bicyclists and pedestrians will be able to travel under the rail lines that go through town.
