Scott Diamond enters race to become Judge in Cass, Traill, and Steele counties

(Fargo, ND) -- A second candidate is entering the race to become a judge covering several local counties. 

Scott Diamond announced his candidacy to become a judge in the East Central Judicial District. Diamond has practiced law for 22 years and has served as a Municipal Court Judge in Fargo and West Fargo for 10 years. Diamond also serves as an alternate judge in Fargo. 

“My past judicial experience has prepared me well to serve as the next District Court Judge,” said Diamond in a release.

The East Central Judicial District covers Cass, Traill, and Steele counties. Ryan Youngren, a 24-year trial lawyer, has also expressed his intent to run for the opening judicial seat in the 2024 election.
