(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Fire Chief Steve Dirksen says fire response times for citizens in south Fargo will soon improve with the anticipated opening of the new Station 8.
"I would say right now we are probably close to 65 or 70 percent complete. We are just in the process of hanging drywall this week and getting things ready to go there. Hopefully by August we'll have it ready to be open," said Dirksen.
Dirksen says the last time the city opened a new station was 13 years ago.
