(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo woman shared to social media her experience after she says a pair of Rottweilers attacked her and two of her dogs late last week.

Fargo Police confirmed the attack occurred in the 2200 block of Centennial Rose Drive South on April 5th. Judy Ugland Kubalak says she was walking the pathway near the Rose Creek golf course when she saw two dogs run towards her. Kubalak says she began to pick up her pets when she was first struck.

"[The dog] took me down, because I was already partially down grabbing my dogs, and grabbed me by the neck and started shaking my neck," said Judy in the private Facebook post. She credits wearing two sweatshirts with hoods for not being more injured by the neck bite.

Kupbalik then describes being able to push the assailing dog away and watching one of her dogs, Winston, being carried away by one of the Rottweilers. The other Rottweiler who was pushed away then attacked Franklin according to Kupbalik, and began biting into him "like a stuffed animal."

"He's on top of Franklin and Franklin is just crying. He is just trying to get away and he's looking at me - I'm trying, I'm trying - I'm kicking that dog and it's doing nothing, it doesn't phase the dog at all, he just keeps going at it," said Kupbalik through tears on Facebook.

Kupbalik says a total of four citizens saw and assisted in separating the Rottweiler from Franklin. Police later found and contained the two Rottweilers. The owner was contacted according to authorities.

The incident remains under investigation
