Fargo Police Department confirms bomb threats directed at area Planet Fitness health clubs

(Fargo, ND) -- A spokesperson with the Fargo Police Department has confirmed that area Planet Fitness health clubs received bomb threats Tuesday.

A news release was provided to WDAY Radio Now detailing the threats:

"At approximately 3:09 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, an email threat was relayed to the FPD.

The email made bomb threats against a Fargo business in the 5100 block of 14th Avenue South, as well as Moorhead and Grand Forks locations of the same business.

FPD officers were dispatched to the Fargo business and spoke with management. The business was evacuated, and FPD officers conducted a sweep of the business with the assistance of K9 Toby. Officers found nothing suspicious."
