Wex company representative confirms layoffs at West Fargo office

(Fargo, ND) -- A company representative for Wex has confirmed for WDAY Radio Now that the company has laid off employees at their office in West Fargo. 

The representative, who asked not to be identified, would not provide specific details beyond what was included in this written statement:  

"We performed a business assessment, looking at elements for our next phase of growth and operations, which led to the difficult decision to reduce a small percentage of our workforce. This impacts less than 100 positions, representative of approximately one percent of our global employee population of about 7,200. We are committed to providing as much support as possible during this transition."
