(UPDATE 10:30 A.M.) — Investigators are sharing additional information about the fire that destroyed a portion of a living space in Fargo this morning.
A representative with the Fargo Fire Department says they received a report of a person trapped in the building in the area of 355 4th Avenue N. Fargo Police were already on scene assisting residents. Investigators say the fire began outside the building and spread into the attic and roof vents. Damage was limited to the north-east corner of the building
No injuries were reported due to the fire. An investigation is currently ongoing.

(Fargo, ND) — A building is facing heavy structure damage after a fire early Wednesday morning.
The Fargo Fire Department received word of a structure fire at 6:51 a.m. Wednesday morning in the area near 4th St N and 4th Ave N.
A WDAY Radio reporter on the scene says multiple residents are currently standing on the sidewalk, watching firefighters spray water on the put-out structure fire. The building, located on Burrell Ct N, has a hole in the north end roof of the structure due to fire damage. It appears no other buildings in the immediate vicinity were not impacted by the blaze.
The Red Cross and the Salvation Army are currently on scene. Fargo Police are conducting traffic control in the area.
