Fargo Police arrest suspect in alleged domestic dispute and body discovery

FARGO, ND -- A suspect is in custody after an alleged domestic dispute and the discovery of a body in an apartment unit.

The Fargo Police Department says they received the report at approximately 11:48 a.m. on June 8th, responding to the area of the 3100 block of 33rd Street South. Upon entering the residence, authorities discovered a deceased female victim. A short time later, a suspect, 61-year-old Randall Duffy, Fargo, ND, was arrested for murder. Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other. 

The incident remains under investigation by local authorities. The victim's name is expected to be released once next of kin is notified.
