(Fargo, ND) — Outgoing West Fargo City Commissioner Mark Simmons was asked what advice he’d give to newly elected commissioners Rory Jorgensen and Amy Zundel.
“Just the same advice that I got. That, when you get up there, and you make a decision on one item, move on. If it didn’t go your way, or what have you, go on to another one, because you can’t let one item hold you up, otherwise you’ll never get anything done. You’ve got to move and say okay, let’s fight the next battle,” said Simmons.
Simmons chose not to seek reelection after serving on the commission for 20 years.
He says he is “out of gas and can’t give one hundred percent anymore”.
