Lockdown lifted after bomb threat made at Jamestown Walmart

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Police say officers didn’t find anything suspicious at the Jamestown Walmart after someone called in a bomb threat.

Around 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 22, Jamestown Police said an employee called them saying someone called the store saying they put a bomb in a package in the store and it would go off in an hour.

The store was evacuated, police set up a perimeter and Jamestown schools were put on lockdown. After searching inside and outside the store, police say they didn’t find anything out of the ordinary.

After 70 minutes, staff and customers were able to go back into the store.
